Gabon revived cocoa cultivation in early 2006 with oil money. But as other cocoa producing countries, cocoa beans are not processed on the spot. This means that the chocolate must be imported. Julie’s Chocolates is not yet a globally recognized brand, but it already has a strong base in the local market.
